How did you feel on Monday, May 12?
On this day, in a matter of minutes, thousands of people lost their lives in China’s massive Sichuan earthquakes. About the same time in the West, many people from coast to coast have told me that May 12 felt like the worst day they have experienced in a long time. Perhaps you too felt tired, weak lethargic, had difficulty sleeping or breathing, and being in otherwise good health suddenly feel ill or fearful or depressed. One explanation is, whether or not this has occurred to you, your intuition was psychically picking up on the emotion of this horrific event and perhaps other concomitant or coexisting Earth Changing disasters like Cyclone Nargis, which ripped through Burma few days earlier. Why or how does this happen you may ask? Simply put an untrained mind can’t help telepathically connecting to and absorbing the emotion of major crisis events that radiate out to all in the world. For example I will ask you to control you mind now and please do not to think of a white Polar bear with a red nose, sitting in a lawn chair on a sunny sandy beach, wearing sun glasses, drinking a cool drink from a pink glass.
As you saw this image in your mind even though you were told not to, you couldn’t help but to “see” this beach front scene. Your mind is an open perceiver (not receiver) in the intuitive sense. At the greatest level of awareness the soul level, we are all interconnected. Awareness or ESP (extra sensory perception) increases from the premonition level to precognition to prediction and on to prophesy. Each with a level of clarity of perception (or lucidity) which in times of great concern, either personally or collectively, our souls reach out to communicate with one another. Learning to develop these abilities to an ever greater level of awareness is of great advantage.
In our world today, it is our spiritual unity that motivates us to help the rescue efforts of those “on the ground”. We should instinctively think thoughts of hope, not pity, as we send prayers into the universe asking for relief and strength for those directly affected while sending for loving, caring thoughts, and feelings telepathically to the needy. They will feel the relief as you may have felt the sadness on Monday. Pray for them every day and this powerful intuitive unseen energy will console and comfort the grieving and hearten the survivors to maintain thoughts of hope and encouragement. They will get past this event as all things happen for a spiritual purpose; to enlighten and cause change prior to an event, or if an event must come to pass, then some lesson unfold. Our duty in spite of our current feelings toward others renders us to give help and assistance. The brotherhood and /or sisterhood of human kind pulls us all together and we will find our selves moving up that spiritual (Jacob’s) ladder a step or two in the process and becoming better or truer human-beings.
Training your mind and developing your awareness or intuition is therefore very important, especially as you progress in your spiritual evolution. For with increased awareness comes both great psychic / spiritual ability and increased responsibility. Willingly taken, as it is a selfless act to seek to help others intuitively (or with spiritual gifts) that all enlightened beings demonstrate. As you naturally become increasingly capable of reaching out with your mind, it becomes important that you learn to do so prudently. The unhelpfulness of the situation a person finds themselves in should not intrude or infringe on your mind-fullness or awareness.
The path to enlightenment is open to all. A seeker will proceed on their own accord and find their destiny weather they do so single-handed-ly, over the landscape with its many twist and turns pitfalls and snares, or by seeking someone who knows where “the stepping stones” are who has actually lived and intuitive life and its experiences. It has often been said,”when the student is ready the teacher appears, and when the teacher is ready the student appears”
To investigate your intuition is advisable for this leads to the awakening of your Spiritual Self. Learning to be aware is learning to be aware of everything. This leads to a greater awareness, which leads to greater self realization, which leads to becoming a fully realized human being. Which means you will someday experience that greatest human experience of all - to be a fully self realized human being - an Avatar.
